MBA Prep Traditional Test Policy

Strong preference will be given in the MBA Prep admissions process to candidates who apply with official scores at or above our program minimum.

  1. MBA Prep is “Test Preferred” – meaning the committee strongly prefers all candidates apply with an official test score. To ensure that their application is reviewed with a test score, candidates must submit their official scores no later than their application deadline (October 18, 2023, December 1, 2023, or January 10, 2024).
  2. Applicants with an overall undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher are permitted to apply to MBA Prep (Traditional) without an official exam, however, if admitted, they will need to submit an official score that meets the minimum program score requirements to MLT by May 1, 2024 in order to continue enrollment in the program.

    • Program score minimum requirements for all Fellows are as follows: All Fellows must have at least one official test score at or above 500 (GMAT Exam); 485 (GMAT Focus); 150 Quant / 150 Verbal (GRE); or 150 (Executive Assessment, EA). Canceled scores do not meet the requirement unless they are officially reinstated.
    • Fellows who don’t achieve minimum score requirements by May 1, 2024 will be offered opportunities to defer and be considered to restart the program in March 2025.
    • Fellows will need a minimum test score to restart the program.
  3. Applicants with an overall undergraduate cumulative GPA lower than 3.0 are required to submit an official test score with their MBA Prep Traditional application.
  4. While minimum scores enable continued enrollment, all Fellows should strive for MLT’s “Test Final” scores of 650 (GMAT), 605 (GMAT Focus), 160 Quant / 160 Verbal (GRE) or 155 (EA) as early as possible in the program.
  5. Depending on other aspects of a Fellow’s MBA candidacy, their MBA Prep Coach may recommend that they continue working with an exam beyond the “Test Final” boundary.
  6. All official test scores must be dated January 15, 2020 or later to be accepted.
